Stockings with Slingbacks: Is it okay?

this winter i've seen a few folks kicking around in slingback shoes and stockings.

while the jury is well and truly still out on this one, i think i find myself in the 'no' category.

if you do find yourself quite partial to the winter-time slingback, then make sure your stockings are sheers, and even better if they have a cuban heel to add a bit of pizzazz! my personal favourite are Jonathon Aston's contrast seem and heel tights:

finally though, stockings with peep toes are still definitely a no-no!
